I identify as an outsider artist, that is an artist with little or no formal artistic training. I did actually suffer a year at art college, which needless to say was a beastly experience, one which I have no desire to repeat in anyway, shape or form. Working in a variety of media, I like to explore wave, shape and form in whichever way that comes, having completed projects in collage and 3D work ( Now sadly lost)
My preferential medium for painting is acrylics, for ease of use and drying time to mention but two advantages. I also draw, build and other things too. When I aam feeling brave I use oils, but they stink and are messy.
Amongst other things, I am colour blind.
As an afterword I take my influence from the Spiritual, the environmental, auto-biographical and the political. More recently I have put on my academic gown and am delving more into history, most especially that of the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler. I am studying for an M.A, have four black cats and like to garden.
I am currently writing my first novel.
